there are multiple factors involved, e.g. why do you need to squeeze the ball, after a stroke or just for fun and muscle build up. How strong are your efforts, how hard is the ball, these make it a hard question, but whatever the reason is, I would encourage you to keep at it, you could see a physical therapist in your area with the ball and get better answers!, good luck
