A confident man will demonstrate his interest in a female by doing things like exchanging sustained periods of eye contact and often smiling and/or friendly, warm body language; for instance, open stance, fixed eyes, relaxed shoulders and typically a smirk or a small smile.
A man with little to no confidence may demonstrate his affection for you by sucking up to you, attempting to appeal to you or be touchy-feely, do anything for you. In essence, wearing their heart on their sleeve.

Actions speak louder than words......
Eye contact whenever possible
Smiles when you look at him
Acts silly or stupid to get your attention when you're near
Tries to say HI or meaningless chit chat
Tries to be close to you without disrespecting your personal space, of course
Asks for this and that, even though it seems needless
They will find either subtle or bold ways to let you know that they're interested (depending on if they're shy or not)

Watch him.Watch how he acts around other people when you're around.Watch how he acts around other women when you're around?Is he careful of your feelings as far as flirting w/ other girls when he knows you're watching or does he act like a pig and flirt with everything w/o a penis that walks by wather you are looking or not?How much affection does he show you?Does he do things for you whithout you asking him to?Read into his eyes and body language.Simply pay attention.Does he find random times to see you or touch you "accidentally"?Does he make an effort to make you laugh or smile?Do you "coincidentally" run into him alot?

1. He finds ways to be with you when he really has no reason to be with you.
2. If he's within proximity of you, his body language leads him to lean in toward you.
3. He smiles a lot in your presence.
4. If he sees you, he smiles, raises his eyebrows, etc.
5. He might find reasons to touch you, like your hands grazing.
6. You may feel like he's watching you (but you may never catch him doing it).
7. He talks to everyone around you, but when you're around, he may choke up.
8. His behavior changes when he's around you when compared to his behavior with his friends.
9. His eyes get 'soft' when he looks at you. They change slightly or get relaxed around the edges. It's subtle, but you can tell if you watch...
(You may already be aware of it at a subconscious level - that's what made you start wondering if he likes you...)
10. He watches your lips. (Dead give away.)
11. When he's near you or talking with you, his eyes travel in a little circle around your face and land back on your eyes. (Like he's looking at your whole face - then back to your eyes.)
12. DEAD Giveaway - when you talk to him he turns red.

They suddenly do things for you at the drop of a hat, like quickly pick something up if you drop it on the floor (that they normally wouldn't do) or keep staring at you but pretend not to.
