I think the bigger question is, if Eve was created from Adams rib, then wouldn't she have the same DNA as him? And if that were the case, then wouldn't their children have the same DNA as their parents? Wouldn't that mean everyone in the world would have the same DNA? That obviously isn't true though. I would like if someone could explain this to me. I am obviously not very educated on this.

actually, we are, even from an evolutionary standpoint. They call him Genetic Adam, or Scientific Adam, something like that. They have been able to trace people back to one person, then one more person, then a few brances off of them (like Genghis Kahn). I saw it on the DIscovery Channel. It was a documentary produced from an evolutionist point of view.

Yes, and even worse, Noah and the flood would have reduced the gene pool even more. Fortunately, it's just a myth.

As an aside, though, I saw a show about disasters the other day and they talked about how some disaster happened thousands of years ago, and genetecists believe whatever it was reduced the reproducing female population of our pre-human anscestors to less than thirty individuals! How close we came to not existing!

LOL, that is the problem with the Adam and Eve story. Wouldn't we all be inbred? Everytime people had a little fun it would be considered incest, which incest is a sin. Would explain why the gene pool is so screwed up.

They would be if that is what the Bible says - but it doesn't. We have become accustomed to reading w/ blind eyes. EDEN existed surrounded by many other nations such as the Hurrians. We have similar creation stories/flood stories from those nations.
Gen. 1-11 is the prelude to the Faith Bible which begins w/ Abram.

It doesn't matter whether you believe in creationism or evolution, both state that we are all related. Evolution just goes one step further and states that all living organisms have a common ancestor.

Of course we are but not so close that we cannot marry and have children because of incest or something. We all came from Noah and his family also after the worldwide flood.

And that explains why the human race is degrading one generation at a time...
