American soldiers must stay in Iraq until the job is done. I agree to some extent that we should not have gone in, but too many outstanding young people have given their lives for us to pull out now. It would be a major blunder to leave Iraq before it is stable with a peace full government. The militants would leap on the power vacuum left by allied forces. While the death toll is high now, it would be much, much higher if the U.S. forces left. This could come back to haunt us in the future and we would look completely incompetent to the international community. This would be a great victory for the insurgents and would cause major backlashes in other parts of the world. These terrorists are hoping that they kill so many Americans that the American people will forget about 9/11 and consider the war too costly. Do you honestly think the terrorists will leave us alone if we leave the middle east? As long as we are there, we have them on their own land. If we left, they would come to the U.S. and more of our people would die. The Iraqi people are claiming thousands of innocent people have been killed since the war started. If the terrorists came to U.S. soil, our innocent people would die. I will be completely honest and say what everyone is thinking; better they die than us. I have 2 friends that have been killed in Iraq and one there now. I think we have a duty as Americans to support our troops until the job is done. There is no price too high for the freedoms we enjoy. God Bless America!

The United States Army and its soldiers are some of the most well trained and well equipped army personnel in the world.
If not the best, among the best.So if they have been labeled this way by the world, how can some Americans believe their soldiers are killing innocent Iraqi's.A good soldier wouldn't do that now would he?
The US troops along with their English counterparts have to stay on,irrespective of why their there.Forget about the reasons of the war, their are bigger issues now.Terrorism, militancy and constant communal fights have brought Iraq to the brink of total breakdown. Its time the coalition did something, and its time people started supporting and pushing their governments for resolving matters in Iraq.

Figues is not 3000, its more than that....
they will never get out from there thats for sure no matter what Iraqies wants....history told us that when USA invades, never get out of there....
Now USA & U.K is playing games " Divide and Rules" Iraq will be split in three parts since this game as started from USA,
the recent fotage which USA has deliberatly shows how suiite insulted sadam at gallows will creat more problem in iraq between Sunni's & Shiite's and will give an excuse USA to stay there for ever and suck all the oil & blood from Iraq and Iraqies.....

A good example of what will happen is Vietnam. Now I am not comparing the war to the Vietnam conflict, but we gave Vietnam back to the North Vietnamese. We had the fire power to push the VC back and win the war.....well thats beating a dead horse. If we pull out of Iraq prematurely, Iraq will fail as a democratic society and revert to a Saddamistic regime. We have put too much time, effort and blood into the liberation of Iraq to just give up and not see it thru.

You really get mixed from the soldiers, but many want to finish the job there. Why so many vets are mad about Viet Nam. They weren't able to finish what they went over there to do.
Yes 3000 soldiers died over there, but if we leave now they died for nothing. Why don't we let them do their jobs and give them what they need to finish it. We leave Iraq we are leaving them open to any other country just taking over. They [Iraq] are a wound. An open wonder right now. We need to help it heal to keep from infections getting in there. We leave them right now we are leaving them with a stable government and without a strong military that can defend itself.

US claims that that the troops have been deployed to initiate the political & social transformation of Iraq..if that be the reason i see no reason as to why they wud withdraw from Iraq`s soil ..
now that saddam has been executed US can still have their purpose served without military operations..

i feel that we should leave iraq and let them stand up for themselves and not become dependent on us to come behind them and protect them, if they want freedom let them keep/ win it for themselvs... we started them on the right path and once we take the brace away they will have no where to turn but to stand up for themselves...but i do think inorder to get out i think we need to do wht the generals are suggesting and send in more troops to help the ones alreaghty there leave then they slowely back out...

No, I do not think they should stay personally. But It is to be. The Bible speaks of all of these things. I realize that every one does not believe in the Bible; nor does everyone read the Bible. But it is all in there. Man cannot change what GOD has already put in place.
