My hairdresser who I haven't seen or spoken to in over a year recently had a baby and when I went to book an apoointment, I was told she took 2 months off of work because she had a baby boy and has hired a replacement at her shop. Anyway, I have an appointment with the replacement on Friday and was thinking of leaving my hairdresser a Congrats card for her new baby. Do you think this is appropriate? I doubt I'll go in for another appointment till September or October. What do you think? Or should I just mail it to the shop after my appointment?

I think it would be a nice gesture. Remember, what goes around comes around.

There is no problem with leaving the card , but before you just tell them you are leaving the card make sure and ask them if its ok for you too do so? They may want you to wait til she is back in the shop. You know that she will be back in 2mths so you can always send it too her then if they dont allow it then.. This way you can make sure she gets it ..

I think you should send the card anytime you want. It will be really nice if you can get her home address so that she receives it sooner than later.

It's fine to leave it when you are there.
