It could possibly be gingivitis in the gums. People believe that where teeth are removed there will be no more problems, but this is not true. Gingivitis is in the gums not your teeth. Even those who have dentures still have to keeps their gums clean to prevent this and other infections from developing in their gums. See your Dentist and let him know where and what the problem is. He will probably prescribe an antibiotic for this. I strongly suggest you do this.

It could be your other teeth moving and causing pressure or it could be your jaw if it was damaged trying to get the wisdom teeth out. Only your denist can say for sure.

Are you sure they didn't leave a small piece in there? It happens! Maybe you have dry sockets which is quite painful. Go back to the dentist who pulled them and have them take a look at the area to see if there is an infection or something.

I had the same problem, my oral surgeon said that it would take 4-6 mos. for my mouth to begin to feel normal again and that the pain was from the bone tissue reforming. Hope this helps, try salt water rinse and orajel. That helped me.

My father had problems with fragments of bones that would poke out of his gums. It kept them irritated and sore until he pulled the pieces out with tweezers, but I would recommend you see the Dentist to be sure.
