Ok towards the end of 2006 I got my heart broken really bad my ex boyfriend, I mean I was a mess my spirit and all was broken. In any event I vowed to God if he got me thru it I would abstain from sex. Well its been a month since I've had sex with anyone, and I'm proud of me! I've never had so much peace in my heart and my mind I'm truely happy. Anyway there was this guy at my job, that was really cool so we exchanged phone #'s a while ago. But as of recent he told me he wanted to have sex with me, so today I told him the promise I made to God. And he told me that he didn't want to talk anymore, cause all he was looking for was a F*ck! I told him that I thought of him more then that, cause he was a good person. Really smart, and funny but he continued to say that all he wanted right now was to F*ck. He didn't have a need for just a platonic friendship, so I told him that was fine. And he should put more of a value on himself then just a screw. Did I do something wrong here?

Way to go girl. There is nothing wrong with sex. But you should never "settle" for less than you are worth. If a man doesn't value you for anything else...that is not much of a relationship for you.

If I have sex, I'd like to have it with someone I can enjoy being with. Ya know you may be onto something there. Try telling the next one the same thing and see what he really wants. If it's your company and you enjoy being with him..you can always change your mind at any point, right?

your putting even less value on the screw do you want to do that? if you want to f.. him then go ahead god will forgive you. At least he was honest with you. But keep in mind that you work with him- that could bring a whole new set of issues

The only thing you did wrong was not walk away immediately after he said all he wanted was to f*ck.
If you attempt to engage him in conversation again, that will be wrong because he very clearly indicated that he has absolutely zero interest in you.

the only thing that you have made the wrong choice about is that you still think, that he is a decent guy.the value of just being a screw is being put on you not him.and if he doesn't want to talk to you anymore because your choosing to be celibate that's his problem not yours. i say dump the loser.

No. You did nothing wrong. Don't let him make you feel bad about this, you did the right thing, you made the right decision.
