He's 1yr and 10 months old. He used to have jet black nose, but I noticed that the tip is brownins-pinkish. There's no scabbing, not bleeding, no discharge, no mass. Just the color. Please help.

Several things can cause it but I suspect its winter nose/snow nose. It is the depigmentation of the nose due to lack of sun light in the winter months. Here is more about it

He's probly just rubbing it on something, causing it to get lighter and lighter. Some dog breeds snouts change colour between 1 and 2 years of age.

If you're really worried about it, which you seem to be, just call the vet, and ask them. They can tell you what it could be, what to look for to make sure there isn't a disease or disorder, and to bring him in if needed. If he isn't acting unusual, then I wouldn't worry about it to much, but I'd still call your vet.

He's a sick puppy and I would call your veterinarian to see what can be done. It's not a Huge problem, but if gets worse than bring him in for a check-up etc. Give him plenty of food, water, and keep him warm.

do you feed your dog out of plastic dishes? if so that is probably the problem cause i used to feed my dog from plastic dishes the vet told me that plastic dishes can cause a dog's nose to change colors I am serious . so we changed to stainless steel much easier to clean as well. good luck . god bless you.

It's nothing to worry about. Is he white? A lot of light colored dogs get loss of pigment on their nose. It's no big deal.
