Well, hurting words are worse than physical bruises. So, I'd say that saying something and wishing you hadn't hurts worse that saying nothing at all. In the latter case, you have another chance to say what's in your mind or even apologise for not saying. But, words once spoken cannot be taken back. They remain forever embedded in the one who's spoken to.

The latter hurts more! For if saying nothing, one might have forgone the happiness that one could have had. So one might then spend the rest of his/her life regretting of saying nothing in the first place.

definitely saying something and wishing u hadnt cant take it back but u can always say something at a future time
