Ok, I have fallen for this guy, and well I really like him! I told him my feelings late October and he took it just fine. We are not going out or anything, but me and my friends are starting to see some progress! Anyways, my parents think I should focus more on my school than love (Dont worry, Im not young) well, they think its absoulouetly wrong for me to have feelings for someone...i think its because that's the way it was when they were young! But isnt life all about loving??? What should I do?

You can't help how you feel about people. You fall in love, you can't help it.
I think what your parents are worried about is not that you love, but that you might neglect your schoolwork in favour of chasing boys or dating. You'll have to prove to them that it isn't the case.
Sit down and tell them you're interested in this boy, but not (yet) dating him. If they react badly and say you're not allowed to see him, ask them if it's because they think you'll sacrifice schoolwork in favour of spending time with him. DON'T just say "why not?" - it's an immature answer and will make them treat you like a child - the goal here is to make them think of you as a responsible adult.
If the schoolwork thing *is* their concern, then start negotiations. Something like being allowed to see this boy on days/afternoons/nights when you have no schoolwork/homework to do. Or that if you finish an assignment by a certain time, you're allowed to see him on the weekend. Agree with them that if you're grades start slipping down, you'll talk with them again to discuss the situation.
Let them see thet you're responsible enough to balance your own priorities. They'll start trusting you to make your own decisions when it comes to school and dating.
And you're right - there's certainly nothing wrong with loving. It's what life's about.

If you're old enough then you're definitely entitled to make your own decisions..there's nothing wrong with falling in love and if you want to fall in love then go for it! Your parents come from a different generation so that's why they feel differently, and they can't tell you that it's wrong for you to have feelings for someone. It's only natural to fall in love... You should be able to handle going to school and have a boyfriend at the same time. Good luck and best wishes....

One question i think you should ask your self, and i dont mean to be rude or up front, but i have thought i was in love with someone more times than i can remember, but now i realise i was only lusting them.
Do you lust after this guy and just want to be with him, or do you honestly love him.
Have a think about it. if you honestly love him and am in love with him, then Risk Everything, its worth it in the end. But if it is only lust, admire from afar and get focused on your schooling.

when you love to some body and that person love you ..that's the thing can happen to you ...just one thing we are humans and we live with humans on this world ...i think it means we have to think about humans ."real life" walk on the earth don't fly and every thing will be great keep on loving him but stay on the real life ok God Bless you

A large thing I have seen in people is that they must learn to get an education no matter the cost. My advice is to take it as far as you wish to, but do nothing NOTHING to jepordise you education!

well first dont listin to ur parents think of wut ur heart says it ur love life not theres u should focus on school and love becuz if u dont focus more on love u would never have a chance to go out on a date cuz u will be to busy listin to ur parents of wut they say and u would not beable to have a good life just do wut ur heart tells u?
