17 and a half is a very unhealthy age, yes.

Well, you have a BMI (body mass index - it's your weight in kilograms divided by your height in meters squared) of 16.8, which is below the minimum healthy number for your height (it should be at least 18.5, which would put you at 98 pounds. I would imagine you look very thin, so much so that people seem to be taking note. Being too think can look unhealthy and tends to cause people to remark on it.
I would say that you could definately stand to gain 10 pounds or so, but the rules don't always apply perfectly to all people, the most important thing is to be sure you're eating right. If you're getting three good meals a day, and really eating enough (at yoru weight, there is no reason why you should ever leave the table hungry) then it may just be the case that your metabolism puts you at a very low weight, but I would be careful, and you'll probably look better if you put on a few pounds as well (impossible to judge without seeing a picture really, but if people are commenting, then you may really be too thin).

Ya, I'm sorry to say I think you are underweight. The only way you can truly know if you're underweight is to use a body mass index calculator. Your BMI is like 16.8 and it should be in the range of 18.5-24.9 (which is normal weight) ..... Since you exercise so much you might be exerting more energy then you take in for food. The BMI check is for adults but I'm 17 and a half too and the people at the gym at my university used it when i did a physical there...17.5 is close enough to adult hood :D.... but it also depends on whether or not you're eating right. Check out the site though that might help.

I am not saying you are not fine as you are ..BUT..@ 17 your bones & your body are still in the growing & devolopment stages. Even your monthly process can be effected by being underweight or over weight , whichever the case maybe be. .You need to eat balanced meals ..I am 5'3 and although bout 2 & 1/2 times your age I weight bout 128 to 135 usually. So, Please take Good Care & read about what your weight should be , check out growth charts & go from there. I would just really hate if your lack of weight gain , ended up causing you problems , such as Poor Muscle growth or in~ Proper Growth rate/Developement. ..Take Care & Happy 2007 ~

As long as you are eating healthy food and have decent muscle tone, dont listen to other people. You are not very tall for your age and that is thin but not a problem. My 14 year old is taller than you and weighs only 81lb or 37kilos. I wish he would put on weight, but know he is extremly active and also has my genetic makeup which makes him slight. Just make sure you eat well when exercising.

you are at an unhealthy weight- that's why they're concerned. Seek medical counseling! It's okay to exercise and be active- just not 24/7.

I think you are underweight. Just make sure that you are eating healthy, I don't think there is such a thing as working out too much, as long as your body can handle it. If you want to gain a little weight, eat tuna.

That does sound a bit low, however, it all depends on how you feel...do u feel healthy?? Anyways, I would say you could stand to gain around 15 lbs, but ask your doctor....Good luck
