Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing toxins from your body. You get toxins from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The toxins get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the toxins. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! You need to eat less calories than you use up. So cut back the snacking and up the exercise. Walking is great. Start off slow. Use a smaller plate to put your food on. Eat natural unprocessed foods as much as possible. Eat breakfast (porridge or a cereal with grunt). East 6 times a day to keep metabolism level. Cut back the carbs, up the vegetables and fruit. Drink 1 litre of water per day. Good luck

Exercise, drinking water, eating vegetables and low fat food will help.
Also try to eat the strong meals in good proportions, one hand of rice for example.
Eat each 6 to 7 hours, that way the metabolism will work with the wastes.
Choose exercises that will work with the abs area, try to do so atleast 1 hour daily. Keeping that habit you'll be able to lose weight faster

Eat salads with small amounts of dressing. Eat apples. Drink only water. Go to a vitamin store and get The Diet Source - Your Ultimate Diet Solution. You take them after each meal. One helps cleanse your body, one helps support sugar and fat metabolism, one is designed to maintain your body's water balance, and the fourth one is helps address unwanted fat stores by providing ingredients to support lean muscle mass. I lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks. It is the best selling Dietary Supplement on the market. A little pricey but worth it. Oh yea, don't forget to walk, run, or get some kind of exercise too. Good Luck. You can do it.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Find out about fastest way to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs, water retention and secret trick used by models to flatten their tummy before an event.
Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

If you drink soda regularly, stop. Drink water. Studies say that if you stop drinking soda, you save an average of 5 pounds a month. Instead of eating junk food, try eating healthier snacks and incorperate more vegetables and fruits into your meal. Also, exercise. Whatever you want to do; run, walk, ride a bike, swim, play a sport. Just eat right and exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday. Stay healthy.

When it comes down to it, the only thing that will work is discipline. It takes discipline to eat better. It takes discipline to exercise. There are thousands of diet fads which will "help" you lose the weight temporarily, but only healthy eating and proper exercise will allow you to honestly slim down.
For me, what worked was taking up running and eating well. I run Monday - Wednesday and again on Friday. For the most part, I became a near vegetarian. The only meat I eat is tuna. (Without the mayo, it's high in protein and low in fat.) Instead of two slices of bread, I use one wrap for my sandwiches. (It cuts the calories and the carbs - which if unused turn straight to sugar and then fat - in half) But it still comes down to discipline. I still hate to run, and I would love to eat a thick porterhouse. But I would rather weigh 125 lbs instead of 175 lbs.

Most of the things that will be mentioned here will probably work. (Eat less, exercise more, blah blah)
My larger concern when I see a question like this is with expectations. Generally speaking, two months isn't long enough for you to drop more than about ten pounds and expect to keep them off for good. Don't let the slow progress discourage you, getting in shape is a good thing...but it takes time.
