Okay, forgot we're talking about humans here.

Since 1989, I worked with divorced/single fathers. 60+% of those seeking custody/visitation WILL BE accused of sexual abuse. It begins with CLAIMS of abuse, and progresses to sexual abuse in 2 years. Less than 5% are found to be true, but there are no laws against false allegations. Mothers even sexually abuse the child to back the allegations.

In 2 cases, a woman placed spoons in her daughter than took pictures for evidence in court. She was not charged for doing it because she was a DOCTOR and KNEW what she was doing. Locally, a month ago, a mother scratched her daughter between her legs than accused the father. He was living in a shelter with the girl. He was arrested, but released later when it was learned what the mother had done. He was not allowed back into shelters.

If it's so easy to make allegations against fathers, would it be any less so against a large organization that many churches fear? People will believe anything.

For cause, but not the ones some ex-JWs who want to put themselves on a pedestal, want you to believe, and know you will without question.

It should be noted that making an allegation generates a lot of sympathy. That can be addictive, as in cases of Munchausen syndrome by Proxy.

Because people LOVE to believe bad things about those they hate or fear! Then they call themselves Christians when they are nothing Christ LIKE.

People really, really don't want to think that anyone "like them" can do something bad. They want to blame the "other people" because it's more psychologically safe. Since JW's are not a mainstream religion, people are more eager to believe allegations against them (as well as against pagans, etc.). It's similar to the psychology of why we keep harping on our children about "stranger danger," when more than 90% of molestations will be by someone in the family's immediate circle of acquaintances -- dad, or Uncle Bob, or grampa.

As for the question you didn't ask but implied? The incidents of women sexually abusing their children are so rare as to be a statistic anomaly. This doesn't mean that women in custody battles don't do horrible, horrible things--I'm not questioning your examples. It's kind of like those poor men whose wife/girlfriend is murdered--statistically the chances that the husband/boyfriend did it are so high, that the poor innocent men aren't given as much of a presumption of innocence as they probably should be.

Do they believe these allegations? I wouldn't know. Divorce and custody situations have the tendency to be ugly.

It does seem particularly disgusting when one parent schemingly stages or alleges terrible crimes by the other parent in connection with some acrimony during or after a divorce.

Like such scheming accusers, anti-Witnesses expose their own shameful alliance with "the father of the lie" when they work to invent and disseminate disgusting lying slander against Jehovah's Witnesses.

(John 8:42-44) Jesus said to them: “...You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. ...When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie

Jehovah's Witnesses abhor abuse and domestic violence, and discipline confirmed sinners.

As an ex-JW myself I believe it has to do with not allowing blood transfusions for one thing. People do not understand this teaching. Also they are extremely strict with their children and who they are allowed to associate with. My best friend was beat with a belt by her father at the age of 21. She was seeing a guy she worked with and they found out. Then they mader her quite her job and go to another state for awhile until they found a suitable JW brother for her to marry.
