yes many more congenital problems such as liver problems,requiring liver shunts, are prone to tumors,problems with their trachea's, skin allergies. They can be very expensive to maintain properly.

Never had a yorkie. But my little maltese is tough. She'll sit on the head rest of my couch and jump four feet to the cold hard tile to greet someone entering the room. She also has a temper and could potentially attack someone she doesn't trust.
