I think the operative word here is " USED ". What do you want to do, and why does it bother you. People do not live their lives to benefit or appease or for the approval of people who USED to care for them, if that was the case then we would never be able to do anything other than look over our shoulders. My advice to you is - Move on. Deal with your own life and stop being judgemental about someone who obviously has moved on.

I think the others saying in effect to get away from him are on the right track. Honestly, life is too short to put up with people who turn on us, in any way shape or form.
I am sorry it has happened to you, but I suspect that I it happens to everyone, at least once, if they live long enough.

Realise that when you cared about them they were probably of the same way then, but that you couldn't see it at the time. A little like not been able to see the wood for the trees.

I have been through this scenario myself, and what I did was simply ice the person out of my life. It's tough, but whenever I started to think of this person, I would have to remind myself of all of the things that weren't so nice(the way this person would tell rude jokes, for instance). And don't be afraid to tell these people off if they try to worm their way back into your sphere. It's your life- you don't need that kind of garbage from them.

Tell the person what you think and why. Then tell that person this is coming from someone who used to care for him because you knew his good side, so imagine what a jerk he would seem to be to someone who never saw that side. Then tell him to have a nice life, and walk away.

Move on. If a 'friend' does anything that makes you question their integrity, just move on.
My 'mates' are back-stabbing yobs. I'd rather be a bit lonely than surrounded by people that are just idiots.

I also have a friend who has changed. With him I just invite him to gatherings I have to and steer clear the rest of the time, hoping that inevitably he will come to his senses.

Friendship and commitment are like trust, once broken they can never be the same again so it's up to you to work through it and build that friendship back or cut bait and run.

Try to find out if this person is treating his or her other friends the same way if he or she is they are probably secretly deeply hurt over something if not they no longer like you.

walk away---they may learn on thier own. let them know why you don't enjoy their company anymore. If they think you're nuts, videotape them being an arrogant c o c k.
