I myself do not smoke. However, I was at a bonfire at the beach and caught a downdraft wind of people smoking. Basically, I do not smoke, but just tonight I caught a heavy smell of weed. Will taking in this smell affect a drug test I have to take in a week? It is a piss test.

Standing downwind eh?? Sure, if you're telling the truth and you yourself DID NOT INHALE, then you should pass the pee test. If however you did inhale, you might wanna reschedule.

I don't think that secondhand smoke under those conditions will result in a positive test a week later, you should have nothing to worry about.

You will probably pass it since you didn't actually "smoke." However, breathing it in might have some effect. Try taking some niacin (or however it's spelled) Most energy drinks have a lot of niacin in them, so try drinking a couple of those. Or you can buy niacin pills at most health food stores.

Don't worry you will be fine. You didn't actually inhale so nothing should show up on the drug test.

not likely and most places give you a second chance, you can tell them your story before or after. Probation will give at least 1 warning too.
