ok,now before anyone wants to bash me here..let me say what i have to say..yes she can sing,but she isn't that great. Like most celebrities if you have a good publicist and are hot thats all you need to be famous.but i dont think it means you got the best talent. now in dream girls her voice annoyed me like heck,i think that chubby girl sings so well though,dont know her name tho..i would like to hear from ppl who agree with me,thanks.

Its true! it is all about looks and such. but, the real thing is, do people wanna settle for good lucks and so-so voice or average looks and great voice? I prefer classic rock and old school, when all that did not matter and people played their own music.

I agree with you! Beyonce comes from the frame of thought that louder is better. The same with all the rifts in her singing. I haven't gone to see Dreams Girls yet because in the movie previews Beyonce seems like she's screeeeeeeeeeeeaming the songs! The larger girl is Jennifer Hudson, a girl with a real voice but not the marketability of a light complected girl with a honey blond weave. But, then again, I don't think that Brittany Spears, Janet Jackson, and many other "sex pots" out there sing very well. If the singing alone sold records/cd's, those girls would be out of business.

I don't care for her that much but she can sing in key without all of the technical stuff, I think that's what makes a singer. And in dream girls, she was quoted as "having to tone down" her voice. So it wasnt really the way she sings on stage or on her cds. Everone's voice has different elements that's what sets us all apart.

I havent seen dream girls but i do agree with u i really like beyonce and i do think she can sing but the way they make her seem is like shes whitney houston and i do think theres many other girls who are not so famous or good looking but are very talented

I agree. She like, Diana Ross in the 60's with the Supremes, is in the limelight because her father is her manager, and she is beautiful, i.e., "marketable."
I believe that the "chubby girl" from "American Idol" would like to be called Jennifer Hudson. And yes she san sing and has alot of presence, magnetism!

Beyonce doesnt' need to sing....look at her, so sexy and fine. Its as if she knows just what a guy wants when he is watching her, she is truly mesmerizing, and by the way, the chubby girl..."jennifer hudson" is sexy as well but she can sing.

i think she's been ok in her last cd's but her ring the alarm cd really brought my opinion of her wayyy down. ru talking about the girl who won america's got talent? that performed at the disney parade? her name is bianca ryans. she's reallly good.
