I thought I had love. I was with a guy since I was 16 til almost 2 years ago. Im 25 now.. I still think about him....a lot! I think about all the things he put me through, the 2 children i gave up and the 1 year old twins he has now....EVERYTHING!! Im over him, yet I'm still in love, I think...I haven't been in anything since. I guess it's because I'm scared of getting hurt again. I don't know what to do. I found two people that im interested in but i think i want more and they dont but i fall too easy. Way too easy!!! :( I just wanna know, how do you know when you found it? How do you know when you're in it? what is it really? And what does it mean to you?? or at least found that speacial someone without going too far?

You know when you don't have to ask (not being sarcastic either). Good Luck. '-)

You have answered your own question without not know ing it. You fall to easy for one. The first you are just lusting about what you lost. Sure he might of been good in the bed but hey thats not all to it. You gave up 2 kids for him? Get real .. You will know when the right one comes along. Dont give into them as far as sex goes. Sex is just an extra perk. It takes 2 to make a marriage or partnership. Each sharing the responsiblities to raising children. A love for each other that cant be parted . Just keep looking . Dont do anything till you are absolutely ready for.

You haven't been out there in the dating scene to really see what life has to offer. I have been in love a couple of times. I think the major thing that made me realize the degree of my feelings is communication. Lust and infatuation is usually the first thing that gets you. It is a proven fact that there needs to be a sexual attraction first. Nothing crazy, but an attraction nonetheless. It also needs to be clear that you satisfy each other's needs emotionally as well. Ask yourself: Does he meet my needs emotionally? If the answer is yes then you will go on to step two in what would be called the lust, like, love campaign. Think of him as a runing mate. Opposites do attract, but you have to have things in common. I think that major issues should be your number one commonality. For example, If he wants kids and you don't, then you have to really think if the relationship even needs to go further. If there are religious ideas that neither of you would change, then that would be another indication of whether you should stop where you are.
I have been with the same man for 11 years. We lived together for six years before we even got married. Marriage was not even in our thoughts for the longest time. We enjoyed just being together. To this day, when we think we can't love each other more, we find ourselves loving each other more. I think love is endless. If you find yourself sitting with your guy in a quiet room and feel that comfortable silence without the need for conversation... IT'S LOVE.
Just make sure that when you communicate your feelings that your guy is expressing them as well. It takes two and make sure you don't do all the talking.
Being in love feels like you're floating. LIke nothing in the world matters more than being with your guy.
After 11 years I still get butterflies in my stomach when my husband comes home from work or whenever I think about him. From what I have heard from others, I am a very lucky lady.
Don't get me wrong, it hasn't always been heavenlike for us. We have had our troubles, but it was only after communicating and expressing our feelings were we able to get through things. The willingness to not let something beautiful end for stupid reasons is important. Know what you want. If you want things to work out then work it out. If it is completely impossible, remember that love hurts. You will only then have the knowledge of having things go wrong to know how to not to let it happen again. Basically, learn from your mistakes and go from there. Enjoy the adventure that is life.

Don't give in to the moment. Always think of what you want for your future as well, even if that means seeking a type your not used to being with. I thought the same thing. I think its also a fear of change. Just take your time and don't try and rush things. Find out what you really want and need.
