No Christ says to follow him.

Matthew 4:19 "Come and follow me and I will give you rest."

Matthew 10:38 "and anyone who does not take up his mate and follow me is not worthy of me."

Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, "If you ant to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

These are just a few examples that Jesus wants us to follow him.

But christ loves us very much and he died for us on the cross too for us thats the best reason to Worsip him til death the died for you and he wants you to live for him
