I posted this question. I had never heard of this practice and just wanted to know. Look at the answers. I was not insulting anyone. Why is it that Christian are insulted all of the time here, but I can not ask a honest question about Islam or its culture without it being taken the wrong way?? Maybe the question itself is an insult because I have heard that you should never ask a person from the Middle East about their family, it is an invasion of their privacy or something. (Whereas in the U.S. it is considered polite to ask how your wife or mother is, etc.) If we can not ask questions, how will we ever learn about each others culture?

I agree with you. I asked two questions about Islam and people were very very rude.

People see Jesus through Christians, it frightens them because they have chosen not to believe Him saying He doesn't exist, but they still see Him and the joy His children have. Think about how they treated the apostles.
