my favorite turkey sandwich definitely has turkey (preferably sliced from a real, home-roasted turkey, if not turkey sub roasted chicken), swiss cheese, mayo, cranberry sauce ... sometimes some leftover or stove top stuffing smashed in there too. Always serve on good wheat bread. (thinly sliced red onion=optional)
My favorite bakery/deli serves turkey sandwiches w/ a choice of apple butter or pear chutney, good, but not a good as w/ cranberry sauce (esp homemade craberry sauce, follow directions on bag, but use OJ instead of H2O)

I made these sandwiches this weekend.
I took a loaf of french bread and split it.
I put mayo on both sides. I mashed up an avacado and put that on the top side. I adde sprouts, sliced tomato, shaved smoked turkey, crisp bacon and lettuce.
We had this for dinner. It was a large loaf (12 inches) and it fed four people.

Try a little tomato and lettuce. They all go good together, another thing you can do that tastes good on leftover turkey is, mix in a small bowl to taste, honey, mustard, mayo, a tiny bit of horseradish, and mustard seeds. This goes great on leftover turkey and you can toast your bread and enjoy a delicious sandwich!

What you need is a little tomato and some red wine vinegar, it tastes really good with the turkey-mayo combo.

Try a muskox pattie, but you'd have to ditch the turkey.
