I know some people will disagree with this, but it worked for me. Place a wash cloth in as hot as you can handle tap water. Wring out well and place on your face to open all the pores. Put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and clean your face with it. Might need to repeat this step depending on how dirty your face is. Splash your face with cold water to close the pores back up. Dry your face by patting with a towel. Do this every morning and every night.

for the vast majority of folks ... good hygiene does the trick.
washing 2-3 times a day. but a small little thing might be your bedding ( discovered this about 2 years ago watching a health show on TV ) seams that the oil/sweat and dirt that an average person leaves on sheets and pillow cases while sleeping is enough to clog the fibbers in about 3 days. ( yuck ). i used to get alot of pimples on my face and back also .. but i started to change my bedding every 2 days, and now i don't have that problem ( oh still get a few every now and then.. but only what i would think is normal, or unavoidable amount to get.)
don't use Noxzema .. it contains oils that will clog your pores. ( might try laying off some of your cosmetic's too ( if you use them ).. they have oils that can clog pores.
BTW .. your skin is supposed to have oils.. and removing all the oil from your skin is worse then the pimples.
but if you'd tried every medication.. id suggest seeing a dermatologist also.

There are a number of factors that make up acne. One is oil (sebum) production, another is the rate at which your skin cells renew themselves, and another is the presence of harmful (and helpful) bacteria on your skin. The general rule of thumb is, if you are younger your skin cells will renew more often. Let's say you are around 20 years old, your skin cells should renew about once a month. If your skin doesn't renew as quickly then dead cells will plug up your pores, and injury to the skin will take longer to heal. Oil production is mostly influenced by the amount of water you drink to flush your skin from the inside out, and by hormones, which you can control by excerising once a day for 30 minutes (and I don't mean yoga, you need to sweat in order to flush your skin). Also, keep in mind that your body is in constant flux to help naturally balance your skin. The oil on your skin is there for a reason, it will protect it against harsh, dry conditions like winter weather, or too much sunlight. If you use detergents on your skin that strip it of oil, it will react by producing more. The same goes with the healthy bacteria. Using some products that contain strong alcohal astringents will also kill the bacteria on your skin. You want good bacteria which will naturally kill the bad bacteria on your skin to stay there, but using antibacterial soap may do more harm than good. Here is what I did to change my skin - permanently. First, get a routine going. You want your skin to get used to what you are doing and keep in mind that you must be patient. It will take at least 1 month to see a huge change because of the rate of skin renewal. I use an organic cleanser from Eminence (you can find them online) that is suitable for my t-zone type skin. I use the sweet red rose cleanser because it is gentle, doesn't irritate my skin and cleans without sucking all the natural oil from my face. I follow this with the sweet red rose moisturizer, it's the only cream I've found that sinks into my skin and leaves a matte finish (no shiny for me). You must sweat out the bad and drink in the good. Drink at least 36 ounces of water a day, more if you sweat that day. Change what you eat. Try fibre capsules and probiotic yogurt for breakfast. The health of your intestines plays a major influence on how your body reacts to toxins, injury and infection. Stop eating fast food and potato chips. Eat more raw vegetables and fruits and bran. Eating fried foods isn't what hurts your skin, rather it hurts your colon and causes your digestion to slow down, which can cause toxic build up throughout your body. Don't smoke or do drugs or take in alcohal. These things can influence your colon as well. If you can't afford to buy expensive natural organic products, then heed this cheap advice... eat better, drink more water, exercise and use baby soap on your face followed by a baby moisterizer. Be patient with your skin, don't pick at it and exfoliate only once per week at the most with a warm washcloth (and don't scrape off your skin, you won't be doing it any favours and it will just become more oily). Oh yeah, and when you are done washing your face with warm water, make sure to splash cool water on it to close your pores. Nothing I've just said will hurt you, so just try it and see. I've tried proactive, noxema and clearasil and trust me, getting off the couch and being healthy was the only thing that worked for me.

You need to do an internal cleanse. A colon and toxin cleanse. Go to Dr. Natura's site. I did Colonix and Toxin Out for two months then 5 liver flushes( recipes on the internet. I am acne free after 12 years of acne.

Unfortunately, You can't get rid of acne. Actually that's your body's way of getting rid of the bacteria on your face. Using too many products on your face can actually make your face worse. You should wash it with a mild cleanser - Purpose by Johnson & Johnson is good. Then ask your doctor for something like Retin-a

So your using the products you described above and still having break outs? Or JUST DRY SKIN? If the products you are using are working for the pimples but creating dry skin, I suggest you do the products that are drying your skin out every two days then every three. I personally, just use cold water and soap in the morning daily. I had bad acne, terrible acne. We all want a quick fix. Taking care of acne not that hard. Wash your face once a day with a product but just wash it!!!!! We all don't seem to be able to remember that, If its oily do it twice a day. If it dries out. Push it back to once. If that don't help, do it every other day. I suggest the days you are not doing the product of your choice use a moisturizer. My nasty acne cleared up just by me being focused on the care of my skin. Not any high priced item out there. You will notice a trend with your skin when you start a commited program of just cleaning it daily. You will eventually notice what works for you and how to back off what does not. If your truly dedicated. Just wash it daily, if needed twice a day. With any product out there. If it starts drying out there are moisturizers out there to help with that or tone it down to just one good morning or evening wash. DON'T SPEND A BUNDLE ON ACOMMON DAILY WASH THAT IS NEEDED. SPENDING BUNDLES ON A PERSON BEING TOO LAZY OR FORGETFUL TO WASH THIER FACE IS JUST RIDICULOUS. TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN WITH JUST EASY MAINTENANCE.
