You drink green tea plain. Just add hot water and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Drinking it on its own will reaps the best benefit for your health, just like what the japanese did.
Green tea has catechins, antioxidant and anti-cancer effects that is beneficial to the body. Drink it with your meal daily and you will feel more healthy.

I drink it straight. I also drink herbal teas straight. I drink coffee with soymilk only, no sweetener of any type, and I avoid black teas.
