If you are counting calories then food is a big deal to you. I have no clue about calories what foods have this much etc. I know what is bad or what is good though. This is from experience. I do have sisters and a mother who count calories and I had never seen a point.

Tell your doctor or print this question out and take it with you to the doctors, maybe you have a eating disorder....

Good luck and this is a serious thing!

500 calories a day is not enough for you to eat regularly and remain ALIVE. The very smallest amount of calories anyone should be eating is 1200, and that is when you are extremely overweight for your height and age and have major health risks, and even then it can't be for very long. You eat a ton after trying to live on 500 calories because your body is throwing a fit when you don't give it the right fuel. If you don't get enough calories, your metabolism slows down to compensate and it makes it even harder for you to lose weight. Basically, right now you aren't doing anything but being self-defeating. You need to sit down with your doctor and a nutritionist and put together a personalized plan for your own health. Losing 8 pounds in a week isn't healthy, either, in case you had some idea that it was. I am trying to lose 60 pounds, and my doctor said a good realistic goal was to try and lose about 5 pounds per month by exercising 3-4 hours per week and eating a healthy, balanced diet. Forcing yourself to throw up can cause stomach ulcers and also the acid from your stomach that you vomit up can break down the enamel on your teeth. If you want to be healthy, then there is a way to do it. If your only goal is to get skinny any way you can, you're doomed to being ill and looking awful and endangering your health enough to end up dead. The choice is yours to make.

are you sure you don't mean 500 calories a day or 2000 calories a day? an average adult male needs 2000 calories a DAY and an average adult women needs 1800 calories a day. if you are seriously eating only even 2000 a week, you are starving yourself and that is EXTREMELY unhealthy. the best way to lose weight is to eat a healthy diet (which means getting enough calories) and to exercise. meaning, get away from the computer and go for a jog or something, then eat healthy food after it, not junk food.

First of all you need to eat more than 500 calories in a day, that is very unhealthy. 2000 calories however is recommended. If you are wanting to go on a diet then you are one of the few people that needs to talk to a dietician. You also seem to need counseling because you are basically saying that you want to be anorexic and bulimic, both of which will eventually lead to a lifetime of health problems and if left untreated, death. So go see a doctor!!! ASAP

I don't know how old you are, but it looks like you are
establishing unhealthy patterns of food obsession. You are
putting way too much emphasis on food.

Your body needs food to keep you alive. You need someone to lay out a plan for 3 healthy meals per day. Eat what you want
of this diet, but don't quit eating. I don't think you're fat, I think
that YOU feel you're fat. Begin asking people around you that
appear at a normal weight and ask them if you look skinny
or fat to them. I would love to see a photo of you...I'm guess-
ing that you are very underweight. What does your mother
tell you about your eating habits? You will die on a 500 calorie per day diet.

500 calories in a week? Yeah that is starving yourself. People who are dieting eat 1200 calories in a day to loose weight. I think you should see a nutritionist. even if you meant 500 calories in a day that is not healthy a child eats more than that.

That's definitely not healthy, you are going to cause yourself real physical and emotional problems if you don't get some help for this. I would suggest talking to a counselor or therapist and also a nutritionist. But meanwhile stop restricting yourself too much because that will always cause a binge later. Take care of yourself :)

See the site below to see sources of why you should forget calories and never think about them again. The stress from thinking about calories makes you fatter and will kill you. Learn what to eat and then eat all that you want and watch the weight fall off. Then I want you to tell everyone you know about it also.
