Okay, so this guy (lets call him Bob, his girlfriend-sara, and his best friend- DJ) ok, so dj had this thing for me. i went out w/ him twice. he told me while we were dating that bob liked me too. at that time, he wasnt dating sara.(they were on and off) now things are kinda werid w/ me and dj but im still friends w/ bob. i kinda like bob and him and sara arent goin out any more. did i mention that bob is like the most popular guy in 8th grade?i think it would be weird if i asked him out cuz if it doesnt work out, then we prob wont be friends and dj might hav influence on his answer. also, sara is really popular and can turn the whole school against u. shes not mean, but she just has all the power. im afraid that if we go out that ppl might get mad @ me for dating him??

plz ppl help me out!!

Went through the same thing, don't mess with a girl who can ruin your life, but don't be her friend either. Bet ya there are more girls who don't like her than those who do, get your own posse...

You should be able to go out with who you want with out the fear of some bully girl trashing you but I wouls still be carefull, maybe let things calm down a bit then do what you want...

Girls can be really mean, you say she is not mean, what do you call being able to (and apparently willing to) turn the entire school against you as?...SHE IS MEAN.......
Be smarter than her, slowly but surely make others aware of how mean she is, you will win in the end...good luck.

I got a headache reading this! Its hard to ignore what other think but as long as you are acting morally then do what you think is right.

If you like Bob, then tell him, if you like DJ, then tell him, if you don't then tell him. If Sara causes a problem then point out that she and Bob are already over.

There is a saying, "worry is interest on a problem that hasn't come due." In other words, don't worry about something that may or may not happen. Do what's right for you and Bob and let the chips fall where they may. Oh, guess that's another cliche.

8th grade? Man, do I feel for ya! Talk about one of the tough stages of life! Being old, married with children but can still remember those days, I'd say just stay friends with him. Despite what sara or dj might do, I think it's more important to focus on school and friends. Trust me, years down the road you never know what will happen. High school is right around the corner, people, times everything changes. Ya never know, he may be the one approaching you. Keep it friendly for now and keep all, if any of the drama out of your life!

Okay, after reading your question I had to think way way back to when I was in 8th grade. When I was in 8th grade and in that situation the thought of what would people think would be on the top of my list. Now that I am way older and wiser, I think that you are too young for that kind of drama. Also remember that a lot of those snotty popular girls in middle school end up being not so popular and sometimes fat when they get older. Does that bring a little smile on your face? I hope so. Popularity might mean a lot now, but really it doesn't once you are older. As for your situation now, go with who you really like and don't worry about anything else. When you get to be my age, you will think back on this situation and ask yourself... "What was I thinking?" Good luck to you and don't worry about too much too soon.

Dating Bob won't make you popular or unpopular. Let him ask you first, and, don't wait long for him to do it, either. Keep moving. Relationships should be about people, not about what other people might think.

He sounds form of like a participant who needs somebody there each and every of the time for slightly relaxing. He won't be mature sufficient for you or an surely courting and that i hate to think of of him cheating on you or perhaps merely flirting with each and every thing in a skirt. it is not how a actual guy acts, and each chick merits a actual guy, no longer a lowlife.

You're in eighth grade. You have no business dating anyone, and if you do happen to "date" anyone, the boyfriends you have now won't even officially count on your life's boyfriend tally when that fateful day comes and Mr. Right asks you how many Mr. Wrongs have come before him. Get over the drama of middle school and do whatever you dam-well please!
