I think that guys don't want to date me b/c i look so intimidating and mysterious.ppl tell me all the time (especially guys) that they were afraid to talk to me b/c i look so stern and "to myself". they think that i'll turn them down on the spot just by looking at my face. i really am a nice,attractive person once people get to know me and I gotta date sometime soon!!!Can someone tell me what to do?

Well if they wont approach you, why you dont do the approaching. DOnt have to throw yourself at them with open legs but break the ice first they will take it from there.

Perception is reality; you have to work on changing the world's perception of you. If you look stern, you need to smile and laugh more. It is possible that your natural facial features make you look stern. If so, either practice a new neutral expression, or change your makeup. If it is your clothing, get a new fashion consultant.
If you are "to yourself", make sure you talk to people more. If you are withdrawn or shy, it could be interpreted as being standoff-ish. If you are only nice once people get to know you, how do you expect them to get past the initial barrier?

Now... try smiling at the mirror.. your nicest, sweetest, sexiest smile you've got...
Does she look friendlier? Good.. Use that image. Smile more.
And see what people will say after you smile at them.
On the other hand... if you don't want to date, you don't have to date..
