Parakeets aka Budgies are the clowns of the parrot world. They are just wonderful to watch and play with. I'd name them Larry, Curly, Shep and Moe!

lol

another good birdie name is azure, which imeans blue.

COCKATIEL!!!!!!!! They are AMAZING little birds. They have so much personality packed into a tiny package. They are great because if socialized young, they will like pretty much anybody, aren't quite as small and nervous as budgies, are very friendly and love to cuddle (well at least all of the ones I knew except 2). My cockatiel isn't nippy (unless you make him mad) but even when he does nibble, its just that, a nibble. He has never drawn blood or even made me say OUCH! His bites don't even hurt little 6 year old girls! My tiel is kind of weird in that he doesn't make haardly any noise, but they do have the ability to become great whistlers. Some learn to talk, some don't. Smaller birds aren't generally good talkers. Also, they don't mind a lot of noise. My tiel gets excited and happy when our fire alarm thingy goes off and in big crowds! Also, cockatiels are very affordable birds. They range from $50-$100 depending on the coloration and pattern and the individual place you are buying it. Also, they don't require huge, extra strong cages, so you don't have to spend as much there. Their only other needs are perches, toys, food and water dishes, and food and water. I spend maybe $20 a month on my cockatiel. That is buying bedding (you can use newspaper though), food, and the occasional toy, perch, or bag of millet (a great treat for any bird and also very good for them). Now, the most important thing I can tell you is GET A HAND FED YOUNG COCKATIEL!! I can not stress this enough. Buying a handfed young cockatiel (no younger than 10 weeks though) is the only way to ensure you will have a sweet and snuggly pet!!!!! If you don't buy a handfed bird, it will be scared of you and WILL bite...HARD. Also, you won't be able to get it out of the cage and it will try to attack you if you put your hand inside the cage. These birds are like wild and need lots of special training. Its hard to tame them and they are never as great of pets as a sweet handfed bird, which has been raised by people, so is very well socialized and friendly. And make sure you get your cockatiel out for at least 2 hours every day or it will revert to being wild. You will soon find you will want to spend as much time with it as you can. My cockatiel is always out. His door is only closed at night, when I'm gone, and when I am cleaning or cooking. Overall, cockatiels are amazing, great birds and the best pet you could ever hope for!!!

I have four birds too. They're all cockatiels. I used to have a lovebird but it died.

Anyway, you should name the tortoise one Tortoise, the one with blue spots Cerulean (which is a type of blue) or Cerulean Spot, the yellow one, if it's a girl Daffodil, if it's a boy Sonny (as in Sunny , and the dark blue one Nightingale or Midnight.

I had parakeets when I was young and had troubles naming them. Two that I can remember now are Sugar (yellow) and Spice (white with blue spots)
I think I had a Cinnamon in there too.

Hey there. How about John,Paul,George, and Ringo. The Beatles. Or Mozart,Beethoven, Bach, Chopin. Or famous painters like Vincent (Van Gogh), Claude (Monet), Picasso, Leonardo (Da Vinci). Well, good luck. Hey they could be named after music group members that you enjoy. Have a great year.
