The flakes in Goldschlager, is it real gold? I know you wouldnt be able to get anything from the gold except for a few bucks, but im just curious.

Yes the gold is real it's in the alcohol to cut your veins and help get drunker faster. It's kinda sick when you think about it!

It is real gold. Much like the edible gold leaf you might use on a pastry. Not like the gold you'd wear.

it is real. you are right you would not get that much $$ for it..\on a side note the gold is in the liquor because long ago in the midevil times (and this drink dates back to then) They believed that if you ingested gold it would heal any sickness

that's great for a relaxing night out. be careful, it has an exceedingly candy style with a splash of cinnamon and might fool you as despite if that is not so stable. a pair of those and your waiting to initiate partying.

it's gold leaf, like you find in a craft store. Maybe a nickel's worth per fifth.

yes the gold is real but more importantly, the drink is delicious!! you can even drink it warm. mmmm good on a winters night...
