enough space to possibly get married at and then have the reception as well for around 250 people

A really cool place would be the glass chapel at Powell Gardens, but that's in Missouri east of KC. A cool place in KCK would be in front of the fountain at Legends if they'd let you do it. Either one would require the reception be elsewhere.

Church is always a beautiful place to have a wedding. I am sure there are many reception halls in KC, start with the yellowpages.
