Most often: burning pain in the middle or left chest or epigastrum. Occasional a person won't have this heartburn but will have a nocturnal cough.

You`d know it dear, it`s like battery acid coming up into ur throat, feels like ur going to strangle from the burning and makes u cough. Mine occurs at night, instantly wakes me, it is horrible.
There`s no way u wouldn`t know u have acid reflux if it happened
to u. I hope u never have that experience.

Try a teaspoon of vinegar with a 8 ounce glass of water to see if that solves your problem

you "burp" acid from your stomach into your esophagus.intense burning coughing choking. may happen at night especially if you eat too late.
