Not sure if you will get into trouble, but it is always best to click away from those sites immediately.

Here is what happens when you go to a website. There are monitors set up on all sites which capture IP addresses which visit the site. If for any reason there is an investigation into the site, the authorities will come up with logs of those IP addresses being captured and trace them back to who was online with that address.

IP address records are kept by your ISP and will turn them over if subpoenaed. Their records will indicate who was logged in at what IP address with the time and date. It is very easy to track back the user of any IP hitting any website.

Mistakenly is a rather loose word. I could have mistakenly taken candy from a grocery store. Oops...

If you do not have a history of looking at these things online or a criminal record that states such then the best thing to do would be to stear clear of porn (if that is what you fancy) and perhaps go to a gentleman's club for now.

If you have a history of being a ped, then I would suggest not even reading the rest of this and RUNNING as not only would you make me sick for looking at that stuff, every mother in America will have you as a target for assassination.

Click on Tools, then Internet Options, then erase History. If someone were aware of you viewing underage "porn" they could report you and then you would have some explaining to do to the authorities. You can delete "Coolies" also. Try not to make the same mistake again.

Generally, a person must knowingly view the kiddie porn. Accidentally stumpling upon it without the requisite criminal intent is not a crime. That said, I would immediately delete the porn and not mention it to anybody, ever. If I were a federal agent, I would be wondering who the poster of this question was at this moment and would ask an assistant US Attorney to send a subpoena duces tecum to Yahoo.com tomorrow to help determine your true identity.

Nudes are not per-se illegal. If you viewed naked children that is not pornography. Pornography is the viewing of children in sexual situations.

If naked children pictures were illegal, then almost every mother and father would have to be put in jail because everyone has had their parents take pictures of them when they were little, naked in the tub or sink or running around the house, etc.

If you accidentally did view pictures of children in sexual situations, then delete them, do not forward them, and move on! If you really saw a lot of pictures that were pornographic, then you may want to send a letter (anonymously) to the FBI with the website information.

I would suggest using latex gloves, not touching the paper when putting it in the printer, folding it, not touching the envelope not licking the envelope or stamp. No need to get your DNA on anything or leave any prints. Just in case someone wanted to land on you hard about this....This of course would only be necessary if you had viewed true child porn.

It depends on the amount of time you spent in there, if you got there thru a trick ad, if you downloaded it, if you passed it on. I'd stay out of all of these sites for awhile. Chances are they weren't actually underage just something to lure you in.

If you "mistaenly" went on and then got out of it in seconds or maybe a minute or two and never went back on, then everything will be OK, but if you stayed on for hours and started downloading photos and stuff, then listen for the knock on the door.

It's not what you do 10% of the time, it's what you do 90% of the time. Anyone can stumble onto a page by accident - folks interested in that sort of thing go back again and again. If it's possible to see that you were there at all, it's possible to see how many times in your history, so I wouldn't sweat it.

Peace!

Basically, if you never commit any kind of sick crime, no one will have any cause to look at what you have been looking at. So stay "good" and you'll be just fine! Oh, and you might want to run a few good spy-ware programs on your puter. Don't do porn without protection! he he he
