You may feel better, it could improve your heath as the years pass, it could reduce your risk for certian diseases.

Think about it, your body is made of what you put in it. Literaly, cells of your organs die off and are replaced with new cells that are formed fromt the nutrients in the food you eat. Your skin is new skin every sever days, or so.

If you put a lot of crap in your body, not all of it going to come out as crap.. some crap might stay in. ;)

Write out your goals and post them on the refrigerator and pantry or where ever you have the junk food you love. Place the healthy foods as the easiest accessible and place the unhealthy foods in the hardest places to get into.
Join a support group, going it alone is admirable but in time of strong temptation there is nothing like calling a friend or member of the group to help you get through a tough situation.
Weight Watchers is a great organization to help you lose weight and educate you in how to make choices about the foods you eat.
