I love the woman I "was" with. My ex, however, kept calling while she was staying with me. My girlfriend couldn't stand it so she ended our relationship.... What can I do?

First off block her number, since she persistently called you can get her for harrassment. . dont let her ruin your life.. Tell her to leave you alone.. If she continues get a restraining order.. Let your the one you love know that you are taking steps to get rid of this person..

If you took the calls, if you kept up a friendship with your ex against the new woman's wishes, then you can't blame the ex. Think about what you are doing too. Your ex can't call if you turn off the phone. She'll stop calling if you tell her "I'm too busy to talk, let me call you back later" then don't call. If there are no children involved, there's not much reason to stay in touch with the ex unless you want to. Tell your ex to butt out and mean it. Then apologize and make up with the one you love. Ask her to help you come up with a way to get your ex to leave you alone. If that was your only problem, it should be fairly simple to clear it up.

Change your number & move . If that doesn't help file a protection order bcuz that is harrassment. Hopefully u'll meet a woman who won't put up with the crapp & she'll quit. I had a problem like that when I met my husband my ex tried that crapp & 1 I put him in jail, 2 changed my number , 3 moved & well my now husband stayed with me & then he realized he couldn't brake us up & we are still married. If your woman loved u & you were good to her she should have realized the chic was psycotic & let her know she' was standing her ground

you do not give your ex your new number, since you will now go and change the one you have. If you have kids with your ex then she can call your cell, e-mail you or call 911 in case of emergence. If you do not have kids, why are you still in contact with her?
Change ALL YOUR NUMBERS, get an order of protection if you must and go on with your life.

call the ex and tell her that you do not want any contact with her. if children are involved the contact will be only as necessary, nothing more, and is to be only regarding the children.
then call the one you love and tell her what you have told the ex.
get caller id and an answer machine and screen your calls.
good luck

I think you need to talk to your ex. You probably have unresolved issues with your ex. Hopefully, your ex is not crazy. Make peace with her and live your life. Move on. But don't give up.

I can see why she left. It's a very ackward situation. She probaly thinks you still care for your ex for the simple fact that you let her stay with you. ..and it doesn't help any that she kept calling her.
For all she knows, your probaly still sleeping with her. Do you have children with your ex?

Tell your ex to stay the heck out of your life and mean it.

Your ex can only do what you allow her to do.

Get a new cell phone number, e-mail address, etc.

Then refuse to have anything else to do with her....otherwise you're life is pretty much over and she's won.
