Make time for YOU. Do an activity that you would love or have wanted to do for a long time. I find yoga and tai chi very relaxing. It's an hour and a half to yourself, as many times a week as you want.
If you can't, try reading a good book in bubble bath.
Being happy comes from within. Are there any stresses you can take from your life? Any responsibilities that you can get rid of?

many above suggestions r great - but also get some perspective on your life. Is what is bringing you down really worth getting down about? Do you have more or less opportunities to make your life better than most people in the world? If the answer is more, you kinda have an obligation to yourself that you'll take measures to pull yourself out of the blue. Good luck.

Definitely take a vacation, although I find going back to work more after a vacation more stressful. Is there a beach or waterfront nearby? I always find looking at water/nature makes me calmer and happier. I know it's hard, but just try to stop worrying/thinking...there's a saying that I like & is true for me: "The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thoughts."

I take a hot bath and it relieves me. Try to focus your mind on a project. There's always some one worse than your self. I am currently dedicating my life to saving women from their abusing husbands or boyfriends. Just pick something else to concentrate on. I pray things get better for you. Life is cruel and some people are too. Since you have a computer start writing That's a good release for me. Crying helps.

Think about what makes you happy, what you like to do, and do it more often! Be yourself and don't get down from negative things others say about you... Maybe even try doing some yoga. Buy a CD that's a recording of the sounds of rain, it is very comforting to fall asleep to. Try getting CDs and videos that are for stress relief.
Good luck, and hope you have a great week!

I was feeling the same way and the best suggestion I got was to learn to Meditate .
Listen to soothing music and lay in bed 20 minutes a day . You are worth it . If you don't you won't be much good to any one else
much less yourself .
There are some great self help books out there too .

fitness, and clubs are good but at times you dont feel like going out and jogging or meeting people!? right?
i can see that you like going on the internet (correct me if im wrong). so i would like to suggest this website that helped all the people i knew who were stressed and needed some happiness.
its not a therapy site or anything like that, no sad stories, nothing to put you more down than you already are. but i dont want to spoil it for you. i have had many recommondations for this site. try it. and if you dont like it, its understandable...!>>

I have too much happiness in my life. Seriously! So I need to give some away. I can give you some. Just read this webpage of mine and you will get some and learn from top psychiatrists how to create more yourself. My problem is that no matter how much I give away, I get even more back. That is my curse!

make a list of things that you like to do that make you happy. Then start doing them more often.
do anything that makes you happy and loosens you up. for me if i'm really stressed I like to blast music and maybe workout or call a friend etc....just MOVE, dont sit around and think about why your unhappy, think about what makes you happy and get movin. Unless of course you'd rather be unhappy, which alot of people arent happy unless there miserable.

You could go for a walk, listen to calming music, dance your stress away. If you are talented at something, to that. If you love to draw, draw, if you love to write, but have no ideas, start a journal. You shouldn't eat when you get sad, it makes you unhealthy, and leads to more unhappiness. If you don't have a pet, and can afford it. You could get a bigger dog to jog with you or you could play fetch with them. If you ever become very angry, or if you are about to do something drastic, take a deep breath and count to ten. If you want to be hapy, and want to have something to occupy yourself, you can start aromatherapy. You could get a special aroma for your state of mind, and you could experiment mixing aromas to get a multi-working, sweet-smelling, aroma to sooth you. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to send me an email. frog_puppies243@yahoo.com
