I just died my hair and it turned orange, how long do i have to wait before i can dye it again?

You can color it now. I did that once but my hair turned purple. I colored it again the next day and it was fine. You will probably have to go dark though. Good luck.

I am a beautician and if you want to change your hair from being orange right away just put a rinse over it not a dye you must wait at least 4 weeks before you can add another chemical like that to your hair if you don't wait its a big possibility that your hair will fall out....good luck

Unless you want Straw for Hair do not dye again but go to a Beauty Supply Store and get a Hair Dye Remover to remove the dye(or most of it)can't find-call a Hair Salon ans ask where you can get or the cost of having the haircolor removed-ask questions on how its done and so forth for hints of how you can do.

WOW! this same thing happened to me like a couple of weeks ago. my hair was dark brown and I decided to go blonde....everyone in my family told me it would turn orange, but i didnt listen. I did it and it turned orange :( I was so sad...so i thought maybe If i went and got another blonde and put it on top of that then maybe it would make it more blonder..well that didn't work either. I was being really stupid and I decided to pour a bottle of peroxide on my hair...nothing happened. I came to the conclusion that I was not meant to be a blonde and I turned my hair back to brown. i did all of that in like 3 days! So i think that if you want to turn back to the color you were before, then it is fine...but if you want it blonde(or whatever color you were trying to make it) then I think you should see a salon ASAP...unless you want to go out like that. Use a deep conditioner first, then go ahead and dye your hair again. You were trying to go to light on dark hair. Its supposed to be done in stages. It gets little complicated if you want to go blond, and I don't recommend it, if you don't know what your doing. If your going to dye it a brown again...buy a shade lighter then what you want otherwise it'll come out darker then expected.

I dye my hair constantly, so I've been through this.
If you bleached your hair you should wait 3 weeks, and condition it plenty.
If you just dyed it, I'm sure it'll be fine in a week or two. What's important is what condition your hair is in.

you have to wait 3 months before you can dye ur hair again becouse if you do dye ur hair before 3 months after u already dyed it ur hair will start falling out!!
