In your article, they mention the mistreatment of detainees. They mention how they were neglected and left to bear with the cold...not even given bathroom privileges.
And you are talking about topless female guards???
?????????

They are not tortured. There is a difference between torture and proven interrogation techniques. Torture will likely result in false information, where as proven interrogation techniques usually result in fairly accurate information.

Torture would be pulling out fingernails, electrocution, etc. Usually those people will tell you anything in hopes you will stop.

Interrogation techniques inlude waterboarding, sleep deprivation, "cold rooming", etc. Usually these people become really confused and delerious, and give away information unknowingly.

I went through SERE training in the Corps, and it works. You wouldn't beleive what your mins starts to do when have not slept in four or five days. I can imagine what it is like to be on some mind altering drug( have never tried any) because I recall seeing some wierd stuff after about three days. I spilled my guts, and didn't even remember being asked questions.

TRUE some of the guards, MP's got carried away with acceptable "manipulation" because that is what interrogation is about.

You look for a personality crack and then exploit it to get the intel.

Some of them forgot the Geneva Convention and resorted to dogs, sexual references that are against the Muslim faith, and other tactics. It was simply too many tactics and they forgot the strategy with testosterone or they were just PI$%ed with no Command over sight or just ignoring to get the right intel.

The ANGER over 911, IED and a nation of liberated people that you can't trust seems to inflame the situatuation with those not trained to effectively interrogate POW's.

To accomplish your mission with no real training it is easy to cross the line and some did because they were thrown into the breach and expected to perform.

Interrogation is negotiation; you give me this and I give you that. To be successful one needs to know what the captive wants and it just does NOT happen out of fear or humilition.

If they want to talk to their wife, then give me something and I will make it happen; here is her picture for you to think about.

Effective interrogation is give and take as two gentlemen sorting it out. A bond forms and then the information flows like a river; no pain, no disrespect, no personal humiliation and it starts as a stream and ends as a RIVER.

Later and screw the lap dance

In my mind just the fact that they have found their way to Guantanamo means that they are guilty of something or are a serious threat to the U.S.A. so I think we should get any and all information we can from them. We have a very good way of achieving this without torture And it is not only necessary for our government to do this it is also our governments responsibility to do this. And all the tree hugging liberal loons can sip their over priced wine and ***** like little school girls all they want.

Terrible. On some days they over cook the Beef Wellington and refuse to served their eggs sunny side up. This isn't to mention the burned toast.

Oh the humanity.

I'm down for it! Being "lapdanced", of course. Not being the lapdancer!

Of course, I am not a Muslim or overly whacked-out Christian loon.

And if they really want to torture me some more, make me watch two girls getting it on. How horrible would that be???

It is considered degrading to muslims. Personally, I do not care what we do to those people. They are killers and liberals want to coddle them.
