i see this all over the internet. mahamed "the god of peace" encourages his followers to kill sinners in humiliating and excrutiatingly painful ways. like stoning. so if i become islamic, can I watch these deaths and get to feel good about it?

I don't know for certain if it is Muhammad that is telling Muslims that or if it is the whacked out fanatics that some of them follow. I am certain though that not only could you watch but if you went over to the proper country, you know like Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Egypt or maybe France (who has more Ra*he*d* than French now) you could participate.

But, like i said, America Rocks

Just an FYI
Islam = religion
Muslim = people who follow Islam

Not to death.

When death is involved it's beheadding, which they consider to be the most painless and humane form of death. Saddam's death was not truly Islamic if you take the Quran at it's word.

Whippings and beatings are torcherous, but they are not supposed to be done to the death under what I understand to be Islamic law.

i think of the declare that Mohammed is a stable guy is wildly incorrect. you're able to confirm from the hadith collections (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) and Sira (biographies mutually with Ibn Ishaq) that Mohammed did many poor issues, those tie back to the Koran and definitely supply context. in certainty he began out very peacefully and merely tried to cajole, yet then moved to Medina and have been given violent. That meant looting procuring and advertising caravans and killing human beings, and giving the girls as intercourse slaves to his adult men, himself being given 20% in accordance to a 'revelation' from Allah. Then attacking tribes and cities, lower back with looting and killing and stealing. there are a number of very undesirable episodes, like the scientific care of the Banu Quaraiza tribe, all of whose adult men, which comprise boys merely in puberty, have been given their heads chopped off at Mohammed's instructions, and the girls and teenagers have been bought into slavery (the tribe made a separate contract with attacking Meccans). Or the situations of Umm Qirfa, Asma Bint Marwan, Kenana or many others who have been taken care of quite badly. then you definately can seem at Matthew 7:15 that's Jesus' view of such prophets. Sura 9 is the 2d final financial disaster of the Koran written, and it is crammed with hatred of the 'kufr', i.e non-muslims. He did no longer mellow, yet have been given harsher.

Why would become Islamic? If you are Christian stick with Christ. I know people say Allah and God are the same, and they ARE. But Islam is misunderstood nowadays. People think Islam is full of terrorism and torture. It really isn't. But if you are Christian think about this: you need Christ to get to heaven. Muslims don't believe Christ was the Messiah.

No, if you became muslim and read the whole Quran, you'd be surprised to know that Islam is different than what is potrayed on t.v.

Yep, just like xtians in the Middle Ages. The difference between religions isn't worth a bucket of warm spit, if you ask me. They're *all* irrational and intolerant, and they *all* encourage people to commit atrocities "in god's name."

That is extremism of a select few who choose to interpret the religion that way, just like the KKK chose their own way to interpret Christianity that allowed lynchings, etc.

I am a bit naive but aren't the suicide bombers Islamic? Or is it Muslim?
