i dont like to use it anymore because it makes my stomach really bad.... i like use St. Ives Chammolle (however its spelled) and Aloe and the colagen one that works too. Does it have to be Cocoa butter? or does my skin just need moisture?

any lotion that keep your skin moist is good enough.

I would have to say yes. I have a 6 and 2 year old and used Palmer's Cocoa Butter faithfully everyday through out my pregnancies. But during the first pregnancy I didn't put it on my sides and got just a few stretch marks there. But I didn't miss a spot during the second one and I didn't get any at all. I used it as soon as I got out of the shower and I never used anything else so I'm not sure if a plain moisturizer would have worked the same. Palmer's also has an oil, check out their website.

Good answer, Tiger. A moisturizer or better yet an oil certainly helps your skin when it stretches so much--- But genes and good diet help more.
One thing, though-- stretched pregnant tummies tend to get itchy, and oiling it helps. I always liked a wee bit of olive oil (or fancier varieties, if your budget allows--- but always EDIBLE oil--never mineral oil) in the bathtub---pregnant or not. Leaves all you skin soft and supple. Don't forget the perineum needs conditioning too--- rub a bit of oil there as well to help with furture stretching needs (I know, I hate to think of that too!)
Try not to gain weight TOO fast---that way the skin has time to grow.

Whether or not you get stretch marks is more genetic than the result of product use HOWEVER, because of the rate that your skin is stretching any moisture and nutrients you can provide it with aren't going to hurt.
