No sex involved just eating out and going to a movie. I only ask this because long ago (40's and 50's) that's exactly what young girls did to heighten their chances of finding a great guy in a shorter period of time. I once dated two guys at once and the other found out and called me a slut! I didn't sleep with any of them.

I don't think there's anything wrong with dating more than one person, as long as there's no romantic involvement. When I say that, I mean no physical or emotional involvement. Back in the 40s or 50s, it was called courtship (which is still fairly common in this day and age, believe it or not). The girl would have more than one "suitor" so she can get to know each guy in a friendly environment and it can be done without romance. Activities like dining and moviegoing are fine environments for this type of dating. You have to be up front with your intentions with each person you're involved with. Once sex is involved, then that's where the problems start.

It's not wrong. There is such thing as exclusive and non-exclusive dating. Unless you both commit to each other then there's nothing wrong with dating around casually just to see what's out there. And another thing is to have a mutual understanding that both of you can date other people. If somebody doesn't understand that, then when they find out they're going to be hurt and you'll end up feeling guilty and a bad rep whether it's true or not.

It might have been OK a long time ago, but these days I don't think it's a good idea. Ego's are such now that trying to date more than one person is only going to result in a lot of hurt feelings and a bad reputation for you, sleeping with them or not. I hope this helps!

As long as you're not getting too frisky with them, I don't see the harm. Like you said, it gives you a better chance of finding Mr. Right. If they get jealous of your dating methods chances are you guys wouldn't work out anyway.

well you need to be honest about what you are doing. Dont make them think they are the only one if they really arent. I dont see a problem in dating more than one person as long as you are real about it.

No, nothing is wrong with that as long as you are upfront with them and let them know they are just friends.
