Frank Sinatra was a stupid, low-life, gangsta wanna-be.

As long as you back it up with the fossil evidence, which for instance the bible can't do, then you should do a-okay.
Also, you might want to take note that the InTeRnEt, which you are currently using, was created through science and math not religion. How come all you religous people like to use so many things made by science yet you always go back to your fantasy?
CHILDOFGOD, here is a quote from an anthropology textbook for a course I took a while ago. I'm quoting it...
"If humans evolved from monkeys, then why do we still have monkeys? Such questions are often asked by people who have no understanding of evolutionary processes...
The earliest human ancestors evolved from a species that lived some 5 to 8 million years ago (m.y.a). This ancestral species also gave rise to the lineage now represented by chimpanzees and gorillas. The lineage that led to the apes and ourselves seperated from a monkey-like ancestor some 20 m.y.a. Monkeys are still around because as lineages diverged from a common ancestor, each group went its seperate way. Over time, these groups evolved into the species that exist today. Each species is the current product of processes that go back millions of years, processes that ultimately produced diversity as populations adapt to local conditions. Because evolution takes time, and lots of it, we rarely witness the appearance of new species." (Introduction to Physical Anthropology -- Jurmain p23).

Observe an ape or a monkey in the zoo - has it turned out to be a man yet? Check the aquarium to see if any of the fish species resemble a man. How long do you think it takes for these creatures to become human?
I'm a child of God - that should answer your question.

Before you go too far, you may want to read a serious commentary on Gen. creation - one which i ncludes the Hurrian version of same and the Gilgamesh epic.

You don't know very much about evolution, do you?
Unless (and I hope this is the case) you were just making **** up and not talking about evolution. Because if you were talking about evolution, you made yourself look very uneducated.
Read a book. Not the bible. A real book. Learn stuff before you make ignorant comments like this. When you behave like this it makes Xians look like the stereotypical illiterate knuckle draggers.

How about you read a book about evolution before bashing it because at least then you'd be fighting with something in your brain. Right now its just empty.

No it was dirt and magic of course.
And WE DID NOT COME FROM MONKEYS. Why do you guys keep saying this? Is it just to PROVE that you have no idea what you are talking about.

While there is plenty of evidence that plants evolve in order to survive on earth, I don't think there is any concrete evidence that plants or animals evolve into another species, even over a long span of time.
So no, I don't think we come from monkies or fish.
