Well that all depends on you . Do you feel that you have had all of your wild times yet . Do you feel that finding the right person is the only thing you have yet to finish ?

Heck i guess if you answered yes my going out and just hanging days are over . And Yes finding that one person is all i really think about anymore than you maybe ready .

I know some 19 year old's who are ready but a also know some 40 year olds who are not .

I can tell you after 20 years of marriage if i had to do it over i would have waited maybe 5 more years .

Now if your talking adding a kid wow i never knew just how much of your life was devoted to a kid man it's a demand like no other

When you are ready to accept responsibility for one. Ask yourself am I ready to settle down with just one person for the rest of my life? Am I ready to raise a child? Will I give the child and my spouse my all? Will I be willing and able to support a child and spouse in a DECENT lifestyle? Am I willing to work everyday to supprt my family decently whether I feel like going or not and whether I am sick or not? Do I have the patience to get awoke every 3-4 hrts. for at least 2 months till the baby sleeps all night.?Am I willing to watch my child so my wife can have a break from it? Am I ready for diapers and bottles and messes? Can I devote time to my child and spouse and not feel like they are taking from me the little bit of time I have to relax in the evening before bed? Am I ready for birthday parties, sleepovers, Christmas gifts from Santa, parent-Teacher conferences and Sesame Street instead of football on t.v.? List goes on and on BUT if you can answer yes to all of these, you are ready. A family is a huge commitment and very time consuming.
If you still like just the 2 of you and time with the boys and doing what you want when you want without worrying about a diaper bag and stroller and formula or a babysitter for an evening out alone ONCE IN A WHILE. THEN you are not ready to start a family whatever your age.

You definitely have to have allowed yourself to gain some life experience before you have a child. Once a child is in the picture, it becomes the entire focus of your life, whether you like it or not. That little person is totally dependent on you for ALL of its needs. Nobody can ever accurately describe just how much sacrifice is required.
If all goes well, by your late 20's, early 30's, you may have had time to enjoy and discover some of life before you are ready to devote the rest of your "young" years to a child.
Kids are not cute and cuddly all of the time!

The best time to start a family, is when the people concerned are ready to SETTLE DOWN.
When you are through with the partying, and the running around, and are ready to be there for your kids, mentally, physically and financially.
Age has nothing to do with it, responsibility does.

When you are in a happy relationship and supporting yourself...not living at home!!! And, that you have the money to support these children. There is not a magic age that is the best to have kids!!! Just realize your future kids will need to come first before anything else!!!

Anytime 26,and after. Older than 25, cause you need to know who you are and enjoy life before getting tied down.

i think it depends on how mature the couple is individually and together. but i would think like between 25 and 30. i say 25 cause that is when i had my first son. take care and good luck. but if either one of you are having any doubts whatsoever, then i wouldnt reccommend it. for either one of you.
