Yes. It's cheating emotionally. You are giving sentiments, and attentions to another guy, that you should only give to your "real" boyfriend.
Maybe you should just break up with your current boyfriend. It's not fair. You deserve to be happy, even if you have to hurt him by being honest. In the long run, it would be best for him, than to think everything is fine between the both of you.

one way to be sure if it is cheating or not is to ask your boyfriend to get an online girlfriend and see how it makes you feel.
many couples have a fantasy life. as long as all of the parties know what is going on and are fine with it, things are good. If one of the members is going behind anothers back for some reason, that reason should be explored.

yeah especially if he has a girlfriend and finds out if she ever finds out who you are if your in the same town or try to meet. She might just kick your ***.
Or worst. you could met him and he could be a weird person to either rape you after you find out he's gross and you'll have to tell your bf. Or he could kill you and then your bf would know what kind a person you are.
The BEST thing. just end it. If your bored tell him. It's not fair to him. If I got bored in my relationship which I know I won't we have alot to do. And busy with the kids. And our relationship is like it was 4 yrs. ago when we got together. It sounds like your a non marrying type if you get bored.
ADVISE. NEVER GET MARRIED.

There's a reason that the online bf is everything your guy is not--he's not real! Anyone can pretend to by anyone online, and the computer hides all. How do you even have an online boyfriend anyway? Is it even possible?

well throw yourself inside the computer and then ask that ? again would you want to be led on, and yes you are cheating on both of them so ,so do the most humane thing and decide not just for you but who you are hurting the most because you surely are not the one hurting you are finding a way to keep yourself entertained and its sad you are using another hman being to do that ,like you said your bored ,wut gives you the right to use another human being to keep you from being bored and of course he is way different you fool they are two different human beings with different personality's they are not here , excuse me we are not here to keep you entertained or from being freaking bored grow up your not a kidd anymore , its time to put toys away and face life , you know the answer you just want more empathy for your sad life that you are making on your own , so get serious and move on ,go rent a freaking movie if your bored dont use people

yes, it's cheating. if you'd rather be spending time online talking to that bf than your current one, then you really shouldn't be in a relationship with the current one. It just sounds like you're bored of him/grown apart... which happens. SO just be the bigger person and end it! best of luck...

Id like to say yes its consdering cheating bc i sort of thought thats what i had with the guy im married until here recently when we got married bc as ur other answers have told u ur calling him ur boyfriend ? and who knows the guy u are saying youve never met in person very well could be your next door all i can say is just be careful

Survey Says ! Yes....people think that even over the Internet, they consider it cheating. Be careful. On line relationships are great because that's all you can do is talk. People misrepresent themselves and say things that are not 100% true.

IMHO, it's emotional cheating, which is just as dangerous as physical cheating, if not more so. You're forming a mental and emotional attachment to someone else and putting a romantic spin on it (I'm assuming), so it's a betrayel. Not judging, just offering my opinion.

i don't think it's a big deal i'm 14 and never had a bf or been asked out i think if you like him and you think he likes you then you should ask him out
