I don't want to sell it online. Will Gamestop or EB Games buy it?

I would try a yard sale.
Or you could try www.craiglist.com but you better add the s to craigslist or you will go to an xxxxxx site.

I am pretty sure a video game store will not buy it. But maybe a pawn show in your town? Not many of those any more but besides online, theres nothing. If you do choose online, ebay will get you more than a pawn shop or a place like EB. So i suggest trying online and seeing if you like it. Also, i thought of 2 other alternatives, a garage sale or selling to a friend, or putting an ad in your paper. Hope that helps!

Pawn shops take them but the price for new ones is so low now that you get about $5 for VCR & maybe $20 for DVD player.

I know you do not want to sell it online but have you looked at

www.craiglist.com

do not misspell the website b/c it can take you to something xxx...
it is local listings for free, sort of like the classifieds.

u can sell it at a pawn shop in your area but of course u dont get the amount ubought it for
