I just strted talking to this guy and I think he's really sweet, i met him at the mall with my friends and he's very cute like the model type of man with a 8-pack, but hes 27 while im 16 going on 17. The highest age of male that i talked to was the age of 21. Then I think he's playing with my mind because he keeps telling me that he loves me, but i think he is just saying it to get in my pants which is something that im saving for my first love Courtney. I'm maturing, but im still a young lady, do you think i should be dating a guy thats 10 years older than me?

No, not when you're 17 and he is 27. But yes, when you're older. 37-yr old woman and a 47-yr old man are better suited even with a 10-yr difference; more so than a 17-yr old girl and 27-yr old guy.

OK, you live in New York. Until you are at least 17 (from the information that I found) it's illegal for you to date him.
Also think about this: If you were 27 yourself and met a great 27 year old guy who dated 17 year olds, would you be into him?
Would a 27 year old guy just want to get into a 17 year old's pants or really be with her? Odds are he's just looking to hook up. You're easy prey for him.

technically he's not a pedophile, but he is still operating outside the law.... 11 yrs is a lot...for someone your age. He has alterior motives... I think he's playing you...in hopes of scoring sexually. Hopefully you haven't gone there. If you have.... stop now... and really you shold call the police but I'll understand if you don't.

i think you answered your own question. hes trying to play you...avoid this unhealthy relationship. hes trying to tell a 17 year old exactly what she wants to hear. just avoid this man entirely.
