The Bichon Frise is a small white dog. They have a very soft, curly coat of hair, and are from France. Here's some of the ideas that I came up with:

I think that Bubbles would be a really cute name for a small dog with white, curly hair~sounds appropriate.
I like Dakota too, that's what we named our Great Pyrenees.
But any of the names that you already have would be good!

Well, my all time favorite name for a Bichon was "Jinga" (pronounced like Ginger in the South, you know "Ginga"), because it means something like "princess" in one of the languages of the region where the Bichon breed was first developed. By the way, if you didn't know, Bichons were first brought to America from the island of Tenerif. She belonged to my cousin when I was young, and was the first Bichon Frise I had ever seen. I also like the name "Lacy" for a Bichon (probably because my friend has THE MOST DELIGHTFUL BICHON I have ever known and her name is Lacy.

I have a 5 month old Bichonpoo named Esperanza. I LOVE the name Bisou. My pup looks like a black Bichon Frise. See her photo at left, on my 360 and at www.dogster.com (name: Esperanza town: Merrick).
