We should look it up to see if what they're saying has any basis in reality. For instance, when they poked fun at Scientology, they weren't too far off.

You should laugh, like I do. It's just comedy, nothing more. Of course the people whose religion it mocks will find controversy, but them even being bothered by a fictional show doesn't make a case for their faith being non-fiction.

Come on! That first Christmas special when Kyle's mom got everything that had to do with Christ (and Christmas as a matter of fact) banned was hysterical. They are controversial because they say what everyone is thinking, but is just too politically correct to say.

I love the episode where they show Muhammed, but since no network will allow a picture of Muhammed to be shown it is censored out. It just shows how afraid people are of being see as politically incorrect. Trey and Matt obviously weren't.

listening to "south park" talk about religion is like arguing with a 5 year old...reach for the remote and change the channel. You'll be doing yourself a big favour.

I must admit, I find South Park hilarious and have watched it since season one, but I feel bad for watching it. I don't like that they make fun of Jesus, and while they do have a constitutional right to do so, it still makes me feel guilty for watching it, so lately I have been trying to not watch TV period. I will give them this, they are crude but not biased. Their episode on the warring atheist factions...absolutely hilarious.

Because nobody wants what they believe in to be demonized or made fun of.
Christians don't want anything negative said about Jesus or Jehovah.
Muslims don't want anything negative said about Muhommad or Allah.
etc., etc.
Life sucks, deal with it. Change the freakin' channel.
