I would walk away with my kids. They will want their kids to choose 'the truth' over you. They will want your kids to regret their childhood, if you don't, they will want the kids too. They are blind by their truth and can't see that they are using religion as a mask for emotional black mail and control

This is what I would say.

1. Everything I do has consequences, some good some bad
2. Hearsay and rumors are for 13 year olds and I don't have time for it. Get on with your point!
3. I'm their mother not you. My children will love me regardless of what you may think.
4. I'm sorry you feel that way, but you are completely out of line.
5. All religion is a choice. I will choose the one that suits me and my family best.

You may need to keep your family away from her for a time until she learns to truly accept you. Bible Thumping is wrong and has never won any TRUE converts.

Sounds like my entire family----I didn't see them over the holiday's but they have chosen not to know me or my family because I choose my own way of life---Do Control Freaks ring a bell?

Sounds like my mother. Its prob because you are grown, and have a life of your own. Now she cant control you, and she cant stand it.
