If you think science has all the answers, pick up a new science text book, then pick up one twenty years old, and compare them. Neither one will have any relationship to one twenty years from now, all the major theories on evolution will have changed again by then.

I agree with you in part. Evolution and scientific research is a wonderful way to explain the world's origins. I don't want to bash you for not being religious, and I'm not saying you're going to hell, but why can't religion and evolution/science exist together? That's what I believe.
Also, you can't prove evolution does in fact exist (i'm not saying it doesn't, because I definitely believe it does), so aren't you relying on "faith" in saying you believe evolution explains the origin of the world? You can't see evolution. You can't see God. Both take a kind of faith to believe. So why do you think religion is bull when you "religiously" believe in evolution.
Also, this doesn't really relate, but I just read it somewhere else and thought it was cool:
If you believe in God and you're wrong, you lose nothing. If you believe there is no God and you're wrong, sucks to be you.
Besides, believing in God makes people happy, whether or not it's true. Why not be happy? You have nothing to lose. So what if you were wrong, you lived a happy life while it existed. Right?

Not all religion attempts to explain the physical origins of the world. Not all relitions dispute science.
In my faith, religion is there to teach us how to live our lives each time we incarnate.
The Bible and other texts may not have been proven to be the word of God, but there is a valid and growing body of evidence suggesting that reincarnation is a possibility.
some dispute reincarnation with examples such as numerous people claiming to have been the same famous individual, and I'll grant that there must be some exaggeration in many of the claims. Some people investigate in a less than rigorously scientific manner. Still, others do, and have valid evidence that should be looked at. Ignoring it is simply a failure to look at somehting that might be contrary evidence, simply because it disputes your theory, which in any book is bad science.

It is funny that you say war is a result of religion. I believe that war is a result of the non-religious persons of this world attempting to find their way to more power and Glory in their country's eyes. I hope that you are able to read this without laughing too much. Have a wonderful evening.

An invention of man meant to curtail the fears concerning death, and used as justification for murder for centuries. And fish, just because you haven't personally fought in a religious war - do you really think its not going on? Wow, you should tune in to CNN sometime and find out more about the world around your little isolated paradise.

Actually every war is for something. And since the Bible clearly tells us this, it's all the more reason for you to realize that religion isn't a lie, right?"

I thought like you did then I read a book called "The Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey which contained scientific, geographical, archaeological and historical proof as well as astonishing mathematical codes contained in the bible..I still struggle with it but I'll never doubt there is a God anymore. Peace :-)

"religion" is Anti-Truth!
religious systems of this world, all alike they are,
for they have fought, killed and died both near and far ;-(
and then once aa week, or multiple times a day they may pray,
yet, then as hypocrites they begin each new day ;-(
days that are filled with deceit and lies,
for in a religious system Truth can not abide ;-(
and so the fruit of death is born of religions way,
for life is but a pawn in the wicked game they play ;-(
Faith will not create a religious system.......
peace, in spite of the dis-ease(no-peace) that is of this world.......

If seems that you have a vast amount of information, but not true knowledge.
My proof is that you are not happy: you are tired with religions and you wrongly and vainly wish that they will be abolished.
Just go further to seek happiness at least for yourself.
