what can l do if a computer crashes,can it be fix.if yes>>how?

OK , first when you say crash it can be a lot of things , now if you can specific on it that would be nice. Now for starters , try to load windows again using a windows xp pro boot disk . www.bootdisk.com and then re-install the OS . Write me with the answers i ask you ok so i can see what kind of crash you mean

you have three options if the computer crashes due to a software problem. Run system file checker, run a repair install, and finally do a reinstallation which almost always fixes all software related problems.
If it is a hardware related problem then you can reomve and replace the faulty hardware. You can detect the faulty hardware by counting the number of short and long beeps that come out of the computer when it does not start, or by messages that the computer displays on the screen.

The easiest way would be to insert the windows installation disk in the cd bay and restart the computer, and (press any key to boot from the cd , when prompted) Then run a repair install (in case of XP) or do a reinstallation for previous versions of windows

If it crashes as in you threw it out the window on a two or more story house and fell to the ground and broke into peices. Then NO

what did your freind do immediatly before it crashed?
does it always happen?
what does the screen say when it crashes
does it crash to desktop or just reboot?

could be anything. but most probably a driver issue.

Its quite simple but all the data in C: Drive will be lost.
The only possible way is to format c:/ and then reinstall the windows however, you can also save your data by copying it in another drive using dos mode.

! or 2 times restart it if doesnt work good repair your windows with your windows CD .Insert youyr CD in CD drive restart your PC now boot it from CD then select upgrade and countinue steps it repair your windows automatically .

Is it window xp..If it is I can Help...When u are at the start up screan hold down ctrl and f11...if it work some thig will come on and u will have to restore it and u loos all document.
