i think you just know. alot of people describe it as a ticklish feeling you get in your stomach. i think i get that feeling when im nervous too so it might not just be love lol. i think you know when love is real when you know that the person you "love" has many faults, yet you love them anyway. Also, maybe when you can just be around them and be happy, just the sight of them makes you happy. You also could know youre in love when you cant stop thinking/talking about them. lol however, i think love has to be reciprocated as well.

Hmm, good question. I went quite a few years thinking I was in love with a girl. Those years are forever lost to me, as it turned out all I felt for her was lust. So, you really can't know for sure. If you asked the 5 years ago me this question, I'd have some elaborate, romantic answer. But today, I question the very existence of pure, unconditional, passionate, unquestionable love.
But, one good thing came from it. Made for some really great lyrics for my music!

The way I think u would kno if luv is real is when u feel a different way be4 like u would think about that person all day just daydream about that person and all u do is think of all the times u spent 2gether wit that person.

You never know. You can be with someone for 20 years and think that they love you and that person can leave you for the first hooker that walks by. Love sucks.

you know you really love someone when you will do anything for them what ever they wont you get. you know your in love when you cant get them off your mind all day. you know your in love when you think about that person more than yourself. you know your in love when you cant sleep with out them beening the last voice you hear. thats how you know your in love good luck! :)

you'll only know after you lose it.
the pain will be there and you'll search desperately for someone else you can love the same way........ and you might find it, but there aren't many people like that around.
